It’s so nice to be able to have a little break and enjoy the changing weather! We have been hard at work down in the studio practicing and creating many new songs that we cannot wait to play this summer! We also will be playing at lots of exciting venues this summer such as Salida’s Fourth of July Celebration! More announcements will be coming soon as things are still being confirmed, so for the latest news be sure to ‘like’ our Facebook page by clicking the Facebook icon on the top of the page.
Our last show was at the Crestone Charter School’s Valentines Dance, which was an absolute blast! It is always so fun to play in Crestone and watch so many people dance! Thanks again to Ella and everyone who made that show possible and so much fun!
Earlier this March, Lily and Mesa went to the Natural Expo West in Anaheim, CA with their amazing no-nut company, Don’t Go Nuts! We are so proud of them!!! Not to mention their soy butter is delicious and completely safe for anyone with a nut allergy, like our guitarist Lily who created the company. Check out their website, DontGoNuts.com! All of us at Red Bandana hope you had a fantastic holiday season with your family and friends, and we wish to you all an amazing, prosperous New Year! (2013 here we come!) Last week, we performed at the Leadville High School in front of both middle school and high school students. It was an awesome show, and it was incredible to see all of those smiles. It is such an incredible feeling to know that our music makes people happy, which is the best gift of all.

We are getting SO excited for our video to be ready for all of you to see! We’ve been previewing it, adding a few things, and the editor is adding the final touches! It should be done soon, and when it is we will post it up on our website here and of course on our Facebook, so keep updated with us so you don’t miss it! (You can ‘like’ our Facebook page by going here: facebook.com/redbandanaband) It looks awesome so far and we have all of your fabulous dancing and energy to thank for a lot of that. So many wonderful people made our video possible; but mostly who made it possible was all of you. As you might know, we recently recorded our first professional music video and it should be coming out sometime in the next 2 or 3 weeks! We had a blast recording it and want to thank all of the people that came out to support us! Also we have been working on a whole new set for next summer with new great songs including a song in spanish! We can not wait to share them with you. We have an exciting Leadville gig at a school in January which we are very excited about! We had a great band practice today but we miss Faith! She in Florida for Christmas break and it just was not the same! We hope all of your holidays were cheerful and bright and will keep in touch with you for upcoming news about the video and new gigs. It was a huge, awesome production complete with an electronic light show, tons of people, an amazing film crew, and even a few Red Bandana costume changes! Can you believe it?! We are so excited to see it and share it with all of you! Thanks again to everyone who came out and danced like crazy! We are also excited that we have reached over 300 likes on Facebook! What a milestone! If you haven’t already, click on the Facebook icon on the top of our website and ‘like’ us to stay up to date on all of the latest Red Bandana updates. Its officially still December, but theres not even a drop of snow here in Salida! It’s crazy! This winter, we plan on taking a bit of a break from performances to focus on building more material (writing songs, learning covers, adding some new cool stuff to songs, etc) and figuring out what our next steps will be with our exciting musical journey! We hope your fall has been as lovely as ours has! Yesterday we had the fun opportunity to perform at the Pueblo Chile Festival! It was a lot of fun and we were the only regional band to play! What an honor! We also have some new shows to announce! On Saturday October 27th we will be playing at the Desert Sage Halloween Party in Crestone, Colorado at 7:00pm. Come dressed in your concert and ready to dance to some of our fun music! It should be a lot of fun! We will also be headlining Articipate in Salida November 3rd at 7:00 at the SteamPlant. Articipate is an awesome program that helps bring the arts to our community! Please come support such a great cause and see lots of really talented performers! Red Bandana is also currently in the planning process to create some more recent music videos! More information to come about how you can join in on the fun!
